Rockbriar Farm was built in 1790 and served many purposes before being purchased by its current owners in 1997. At various times in its history, it was a farm, home to a bootlegging business, a brothel and a music school.  

 

In disrepair and condemned when purchased, it took over a year of development before being habitable.  Since that time the outbuildings were restored, the yard and flower beds were planted, and organic vegetable and herb gardens were created. 

 

On the property is a simple guest cabin which can be rented.  If you are interested in a get away near the ocean and are not expecting luxury, the space is a wonderful, comfortable retreat.

 

On site is a small yoga studio offering both private and group yoga classes.  

 

Rockbriar Farm also offers cooking demonstrations as well as catering services.  Cooked-to-order private meals served on the property as well as continental breakfast and bagged lunch are available  for our cabin guests.

 

Guests to the property are welcome to tour our flower beds and gardens as well as use the hammock.
